We are currently hiring for the following positions at the brewery:


We are looking for a Quality Lab Technician to add to our growing team. This full-time position reports directly to the President.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Perform daily cell counts of yeast and fermenting wort
  • Perform daily testing on fermenting and finished beer
  • Perform DO testing on finished beer and all packaged beers
  • Perform sterile plating and testing of wort, beer, and yeast samples
  • Harvesting, moving, and pitching yeast
  • Maintain overall yeast health of several in-house strains
  • Perform regular calibration and/or cleaning of lab equipment and maintain a clean and organized laboratory environment
  • Organize, track and analyze all results and data
  • Prepare stock solutions and media plates
  • Oversee QC of canning and bottling runs
  • Continue to grow QA/QC program and lab protocols as the company continues to grow
  • Write, update, and improve Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the lab
  • Develop and manage sensory panel
  • Oversee and manage barrel-aging program
  • Assist with yeast propagation

The ideal candidate has:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry, Microbiology, Food Science, or a related field
  • At least 2 year’s work experience in a QC/QA lab
  • A working knowledge of fermentation and brewery operations
  • Strong work ethic, self-starting attitude and a strong attention to detail
  • The desire to work in a fast-paced, growing company
  • Ability to work individually, as well as part of a team

Kane Brewing Company is currently interviewing individuals for part-time positions with our retail operations.  The position would require approximately 20-25 hours of work over 3-4 days a week—mostly weekends. IMPORTANT: If you already have a full or part time position with a wholesale distributor of alcohol or a bar/restaurant and are looking for extra hours, please do not apply.  We cannot hire across tiers of the three tier alcohol distribution system.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Ensure enjoyable experience to all customers
  • Uphold high standards of service quality and consistency
  • Maintain a clean and well stocked environment
  • Assist customers during the purchase of beer and/or merchandise.
  • Possess full knowledge of our products and offerings to correctly answer customer questions
  • Serve as tour guide for our production facility
  • Trouble shot draft system

Must be able to:

  • Lift 55 lbs and move 165 lbs with assistance of hand truck
  • Stand for 5-8 hours per day
  • Work in a non-temperature controlled environment

Other requirements:

  • 21 years of age
  • Prior experience working in craft focused bar or restaurant
  • Knowledge and/or passion for craft beer and brewing or willingness to be trained and learn
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Self-motivated with a keen attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills
