Connected to our family and heritage, and in celebration of the Irish village of Portumna, Port Omna is brewed using pilsner malt, oats, and a combination of British crystal malts and chocolate roasted barley. Pouring a deep black with a delicate chocolate-colored head, Port Omna boasts aromatics of freshly roasted coffee and baker’s chocolate and is complemented by a velvety, smooth finish.

Morning Bell (2024)

Morning Bell is our 9.2% Imperial Milk Porter With Coffee brewed in collaboration with our friends at Rook Coffee. It’s brewed with a pilsner base and a blend of British and German crystal and roast malts and conditioned on a blend of dark roast coffee from Rook. Morning Bell is sweetened with the addition of milk sugar to balance the bold flavor of the dark roast coffee. It pours mocha brown with well-balanced aromatics of freshly ground coffee and a touch of cream. Morning Bell boasts a bold and rich profile, delivering on notes of rich chocolate and caramel. The perfect beer for anyone looking for a combination of our two favorite drinks; freshly brewed coffee and craft beer.

Double Head High. Everything you love about Head High, turned to 11. Double Head High is our 8.2% Imperial IPA dry-hopped with a larger dose of the same blend of hops that make the original so great. Just like Head High, this amped up version brings big flavors of orange citrus, stone fruit, grapefruit, and light dank pine.

Triple IPA

Third Reef is hopped in the Whirlpool with Amarillo before getting a massive dry hop of Citra, Waimea, Galaxy, Nectaron, Riwaka, and Amarillo. Third Reef pours with a deep orange haze and brings bright aromatics of fresh citrus, peaches, and tropical fruits, resulting in a bold, juicy triple IPA.

Black Currant | 2021 Harvest
Spontaneous
Black Currant | 2021 Harvest is a three-year blend of traditional spontaneous beers brewed in the Spring 2018, Spring 2020, and Spring 2021 brewing seasons. Our team picked up black currants from Phillips Farms in Milford, NJ and added them directly into barrels containing the three-year blend which had an average age of 17 months at the time of fruiting. After aging on the currants for an additional 6 months we bottled and laid the beer down for an additional 12 months of conditioning. Upon release, Black Currant ’21 Harvest will be 29 months old. This beer pours a very clear burnt red/crimson color with strong off-white foam and carries a unique citrusy and piney overall character better described as twiggy or woodsy with light citrus and funk. Black Currant has a good tannin fruit profile with a clean medium acidity presenting a nicely balanced and unique overall character.

Cognac Morello Cherry | 2021 Harvest

Cognac Morello Cherry | 2021 Harvest started as a two-year blend of traditional spontaneous batches brewed during the Spring 2018, Spring 2020, and Fall 2020 brewing seasons aged in a combination of Cognac and Pineau des Charentes casks. The blend had an average age of 16 months when fruited with sour morello cherries that we picked up from Fix Brothers Farms in Hudson, NY directly in oak and filled with the Cognac & PDC two-year blend and allowed the beer to condition for approximately 7 months. Cognac Morello Cherry was bottled in March of 2022 and further conditioned in the bottle and is now ready to enjoy. This beer pours with a brilliant deep red color presenting a range of cherry aromatics and flavors combining cherry fruit jam with light tannin and marzipan character pushed forward by a medium plus acidity level and ending with a very clean and refreshing minerality.

Peach & Raspberry | 2021 Harvest
Spontaneous
Peach & Raspberry | 2021 Harvest – The base for this traditional spontaneous beer was brewed in the Spring 2020 brewing season and was approximately 16 months old when it was fruited directly in oak with red raspberries sourced from Pure Berry Co. in Vineland NJ followed by a large amount of crushed yellow clingstone peaches from Phillips Farms in Milford, NJ. After 6 months of conditioning on fruit this beer was then racked out of oak and bottled shortly afterwards before then resting an additional 12 months prior to release. Peach & Raspberry pours with a pretty peach yellow color with hints of pink and pushes heavy raspberry fruit flesh aromatics with subtle background peach notes all pulled together by a medium plus acidity level.

Ozark Plum | 2021 Harvest
Spontaneous
Ozark Plum | 2021 Harvest is a blend of two batches of spontaneously fermented beer, including a three-year-old traditional beer and a one-year beer containing New Jersey blueberry blossom honey. The blend was racked in the summer of 2021 to a single oak barrel filled with New Jersey Ozark Premier plums at a fruiting rate of 30%. We then allowed the beer to referment and condition before being bottled in January of 2022. Ozark Plum | 2021 Harvest pours with a burnt orange, pink color and a white foam supported by high effervescence. It presents intense aromatics of plum skins, pink lemonade, tree-ripened apricots, a notable minerality and subtle honey notes.

Barrel-Aged Imperial Milk Porter

2024 Barrel-Aged Evening Bell is a blend of our high gravity Evening Bell recipe aged in Heaven Hill Wheat Whiskey barrels and Woodford Reserve Double Oaked barrels for close to a year and a half. Barrel-Aged Evening Bell pours black with a dark tan head and a big, robust, milk chocolate candy profile rounded out with superbly smooth finish and big mouthfeel.

Gravitational Party Wave
India Pale Ale

Gravitational Party Wave, our 7.0% IPA brewed with our good friends at Conclave Brewing was born in 2019 from a blend of Conclave’s Gravitational Waves and our Party Wave. This 7.0% IPA is brewed with a pale grist including pilsner, oats and wheat. For this batch we added some Riwaka and Citra in the Whirlpool, then heavily dry hopped it with Galaxy, Citra, and El Dorado. Gravitational Party Wave is pale and hazy with a bright nose of orange citrus and passionfruit. It brings big flavors of juicy peach, tropical fruit and melon, finishing with a low, clean bitterness.

Whale Pond was hopped in the Kettle and Whirlpool with New Zealand Wakatu before receiving a heavy dry hopping of Amarillo, Moutere, and Wai-iti. Whale Pond pours a pale straw color with an opaque haze and has a bright hop expression combining notes of sweet tropical citrus, lime and stone fruit.

Bourbon Barrel-Aged Imperial Stout

10th Anniversary A Night To End All Dawns is a Double Bourbon Barrel-Aged Imperial Stout. After sampling various barrels, we selected a highly regarded heavily wheated Imperial Stout that was aged in a Buffalo Trace Weller 12-year bourbon barrel for 15 months. That single barrel was then racked into a Heaven Hill Old Fitzgerald 19-year bourbon barrel for 10 months to finish.

Holy Nights pours jet black with aromatics of cappuccino and fudgy chocolate and has complex flavors of sweet vanilla, coconut crème supported by a thick, velvety Imperial Stout. Tomorrow Is Already Here (2023)
Barrel-Aged Imperial Stout
This annual year-end release of Tomorrow is Already Here is an Imperial Stout recipe which began with an intensive double-mashing and extended-boiling procedure with a small portion of maple syrup added to the hot side. The blend was then aged for 14 months in Heaven Hill Bourbon barrels. Tomorrow Is Already Here features notes reminiscent of burnt brownie edges, rich chocolate nougat, and fruity soft caramelized citrus-chocolate on top of a big textured and plush mouthfeel all combining for an intense yet balanced composition.

Where's The Afterparty?

This year’s batch of Where's the Afterparty? was brewed with a grist of pilsner, wheat, and light dextrin malts and hopped in the whirlpool Nectaron before a heavy dry hopping with some of our favorite hops - HBC 586, Nectaron, Nelson Sauvin, and Citra. Where's the Afterparty? pours with an opaque and hazy burnt orange appearance with an aromatic fruity hop expression of orange creamsicle, passionfruit, light tropical fruits, pulled together with a pleasant low bitterness level and soft mouthfeel.

Bière de Nöel | 2023
Spontaneous
Bière de Nöel | Winter 2023 is a special three-year Congac-aged Spontaneous Blend. The oldest component of this special blend was from a wheat-heavy batch brewed during our Spring 2018 season that was fermented in a 600L Pineau des Charentes cask. The two-year component was from a traditional mash brew during the Spring of 2020 that was fermented in a 600L Cognac cask, while the youngest of the three was brewed with New Jersey Blueberry Blossom Honey during our Fall of 2020 brew season and fermented in a 450L Pineau des Charentes cask. The blend of these three spontaneous beers, using all New Jersey grown malts and some honey, was laid to rest in a Cognac cask for seven months prior to bottling. In March 2022, we blended back a small portion of young spontaneous beer and bottled. Bière de Nöel had an average age of 23 months at bottling. After conditioning for around 20 months, today we are releasing Bière de Nöel | Winter 2023 at the tasting room @kanebrewing in time for sharing with friends and family during the holiday season. This blend pours with a highly carbonated mousse-like foam head with a burnt golden orange color. It features a balanced and soft profile combining notes of orange citrus, candied fruit, apricot, and light cherry/almond rounded out by subtle Cognac barrel caramelized fruitiness and soft acidity. Czech-Style Lager

Previously named Hollow Sea, Tmavé 13° is a traditional Czech-style Tmavé Pivo brewed using a multi-step mash and floor-malted Bohemian Pilsner and Bohemian Dark Munich. It is hopped exclusively with Czech Saaz and fermented with our house lager yeast. It’s spunded towards the end of fermentation for natural carbonation before being cold conditioning for six weeks in stainless. Tmavé 13° pours a deep brown with a light tan head. It carries a rich, malty sweetness with flavors of fresh baked bread, balanced by a floral hop-forward bitterness.

Do I Even Like Eggnog? is our 7.4% Eggnog-Inspired Holiday Ale brewed with our house pilsner malt, wheat, oats, and a touch of lactose. It was lightly hopped in the kettle to balance the sweetness from the lactose then conditioned on ground cinnamon, nutmeg, clove, and bourbon-soaked vanilla after fermentation. Do I Even Like Eggnog? pours with a festive hazy gold color with notes of vanilla and light bourbon holiday spice. Do I Even Like Eggnog? blends all the character of traditional Eggnog to a smooth and full-bodied ale. Perfect for holiday celebrations with your family and friends.

Our 2023 A Night To End All Dawns base is our award-winning blend of A Night To End All Dawns Imperial Stout barrels ranging from our base A Night To End All Dawns recipe to our double-mashed and extended-boil A Night To End All Dawns recipes, all aged in carefully selected bourbon whiskey barrels and then blended. The average age of this blend is 20 months in oak and includes Weller, Elijah Craig, Wild Turkey 10-Year Russel’s Reserve, and Old Fitzgerald barrels, among others. This beer pours a dark black color with a dark mocha head and has a refined classic dark malt profile balancing chocolate with a touch of roast and features a variety of deep and complex full rounded bourbon notes, light vanilla spice, and fruity dark chocolate with a textured but balanced mouthfeel and overall profile.

A select blend of A Night To End All Dawns barrels including Widow Jane George Dickel 12-Year, Woodford Reserve Double Oak, and Elijah Craig Bourbon barrels with an average age of 20 months. This portion of the blend was then further conditioned on Wild Thai bananas, vanilla beans from Madagascar, and a blend of Maple & Cinnamon. Bananas Fosters French Toast pours with an attractive dark black mocha colored foam head carrying forth notes of bourbon-drenched cinnamon French toast, light chocolatey banana aromatics, and a textured mouthfeel combining for a bourbon-rich decadent yet balanced experience.

A select blend of A Night To End All Dawns barrels including Widow Jane George Dickel 12-Year, Woodford Reserve Double Oak, and Elijah Craig Bourbon barrels with an average age of 20 months. This portion of the blend was then further conditioned on a heavy dose of toasted coconut and a unique blend of vanilla beans from the Cook Islands, Comoros, and Madagascar, before being finished with premium Bali roast coffee from our friends at Rook. This beer pours a dark roasty mocha color with balanced round flavors and aromatic notes of chocolate coconut cookies, nutty praline, and creamy sweet vanilla spice with complimentary coffee undertones and a velvety smooth mouthfeel and background bourbon aromatics.

A select blend of A Night To End All Dawns barrels including Widow Jane George Dickel 12-Year, Woodford Reserve Double Oak, and Elijah Craig Bourbon barrels with an average age of 20 months. This portion of the blend was then further conditioned on a selection of cacao varieties from Ghana, Haiti, Uganda, and the Dominican Republic at our highest rate. Quadruple Chocolate pours a dark mocha color and displays a multitude of rich and decadent bourbon and chocolate notes including chocolate sponge cake, fudge, and mousse creating a heavy chocolate complexity in a full, balanced approach.

Double Ripple

Double Ripple is the juiced-up cousin of Ripple, our single hop Nelson Sauvin session ale. Double Ripple is hopped with Riwaka and Nelson Sauvin in the Whirlpool. This batch was then double dry-hopped with a blend heavy on Nelson Sauvin and Citra with a small punch of both Galaxy and Riwaka. Double Ripple pours a bright yellow haze with layers of fruity Sauvignon Blanc character, passion fruit, light diesel and citrus notes finishing extremely soft with low bitterness.
