Inventory Manager

We are looking for a full time Inventory Manager to add to our growing team.  This full time position reports to our Director of Operations.

  • Receipt of all goods into the brewery, confirm all items and quantities correctly correspond to the packing slip upon acceptance.
  • Ensure all received packing slips are given to the Accounting Department to be processed and paid.
  • Responsible for organization and warehousing of all incoming materials received.
  • Responsible for weekly inventory counts of all raw materials and monthly inventory counts of packaging materials.
  • Ensure warehouse is always clean and organized.
  • Manage the transfer of inventory between warehouses.

Qualified candidates will meet the following requirements:

  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Experience operating a forklift preferred
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Self-motivated with a keen attention to detail
  • Willingness to assist with tasks outside key responsibilities
  • Communicate efficiently with team and customers
  • Ability to work in a rapidly changing environment

Must be able to:

  • Lift 55 lbs and move 165 lbs occasionally
  • Work in a non-temperature controlled environment

Packaging Operator

We are looking for a full-time Packaging Operator with a strong attention to detail and a passion for beer to add to our production team.  This full time position reports to our Head Brewer.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in canning utilizing the Wild Goose canning line and bottling on the Meheen bottling line
  • Work with all packaging processes including kegs, bottling and canning
  • Properly clean and fill kegs
  • Ensure all packaging activity is done according to its SOP regarding yield, bottle and can fill-height, dissolved oxygen levels, and crowning and seaming standards and material loss
  • Build and pack cased for cans and bottles
  • Maintain proper packaging records and logs
  • Maintain cleanliness of all packaging equipment
  • Ensure regular maintenance of packaging equipment

Qualifications:

  • A degree from a professional brewing education program or related field is a plus

Wholesale Delivery Person

The Wholesale Delivery Person is responsible for the safe, accurate, and timely delivery of draft and packaged beer to our customers. In addition to this critical role, delivery persons serve as a front line to our customers, often seeing them in person more frequently than their sales representative.

Responsibilities:

  • Loading the truck each morning according to the invoices assigned to your route, and double checking for accuracy to ensure correct delivery and maximize efficiency
  • Safe and timely delivery to customers within, to the extent possible, their preferred delivery times
  • Delivery directly into cold storage with the signature of an authorized bar/restaurant employee for proof of delivery, and accurate calculation of final invoice amount based on keg credits and tap handle deposits
  • Retrieval of all empty kegs including a general awareness of keg deficits (i.e. consistently delivering more kegs than there are empties to be returned) or keg hoarding (holding onto or cellaring “vintage” kegs)
  • Continued communication with supervisor to make aware of any impending or ongoing issues with customers
  • Properly securing both empty and full kegs in the truck to prevent damage to interior of box
  • Operating the vehicle in a safe manner at all times
  • Responsible for proper service, maintenance, and repair of trucks
  • Bi-weekly exterior washing and interior cleaning for all trucks including front cab and box
  • Accurate and up to date mileage log as well as gas and other expenditures
